At Lumare, our jewellery is created in small, limited collections, with often only 3-4 pieces of each design. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with no mechanisation or mass production.

The true value of each piece lies in its individuality. After all, you could be the proud owner of something entirely unique.

As you may have noticed on our Instagram, we highlight when stock of a particular model is running low. Our website also displays a special note when an item is available by special order only.

While there may be a slight wait, this gives you the opportunity to personalise the piece to your exact preferences.

Nature doesn’t deal in templates or repetitions, and we certainly won’t meddle with her work. Each natural stone varies in hue, shape, inclusions, lustre, and often size. Therefore, we would like to be transparent with you – your piece may differ slightly from the image shown in the catalogue. This, however, does not mean we will send it to you without your approval.

Before dispatching your order, we will photograph the exact piece for your approval, ensuring it meets your expectations. At this point, should you wish, you’re welcome to decline the piece.

With a strong commitment to nature, we’ve opted for recyclable cardboard boxes, which are kind to the environment and leave no lasting footprint once they’re broken down.

We strive to minimise the use of non-natural materials in our packaging. Should you wish, we can make adjustments to suit your preferences — perhaps placing two pieces in a single box, or forgoing the box altogether. Just let our manager know what you’d prefer.

The pieces in our debut Lumare collection possess a few distinctive qualities that will reward you, provided you understand and care for them properly.

There are two key aspects to maintaining your Lumare Dolce jewellery.

The first is the rhodium plating. This thin layer protects the silver — a metal particularly sensitive to tarnishing — from discolouration. For silver jewellery with rhodium plating, simply clean it with a soft cloth. Avoid scratching the piece or storing it alongside hard objects, as rhodium tends to wear off over time.

Please Note! Ammonia-based cleaners should never be used on oxidised, gold-plated, enamelled, or rhodium-plated silver pieces.

While many recommend professional silver cleaning solutions, we suggest you refrain from using them on your Lumare Dolce pieces. These chemicals can harm the softer stones that adorn your jewellery.

The best approach is simple: soak your silver jewellery in soapy water for 10-15 minutes, rinse thoroughly, then gently dry and polish with a soft cloth — ideally a suede or flannel one.
